The details

  • Outer and skin side: 100% mulberry silk, 16 momme
  • Core: 2 mm foam layer that blocks light and helps the mask hold its shape
  • Eye cups: two removable cups, silk on the front and back with a breathable mesh edge, each holding a sealed gel-bead pack. They attach by hook-and-loop so you can position them, and come off to chill
  • Strap: adjustable hook-and-loop band

Size and fit

One size, adjustable fit. The hook-and-loop strap (4 cm wide) fastens at the back of your head and adjusts to fit most adults.

Mask: about 23 cm wide × 9.5 cm tall.

Eye cups: about 7.5 × 6 cm each. They attach to the band with hook-and-loop, so you can slide them to match your eye spacing and seal out light around the nose.

Storage pouch: about 11 × 14 cm.

How to cool

  1. Detach the eye cups from the mask.
  2. Chill the cups in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Do not freeze them.
  3. Reattach the cups, settle in and enjoy 10–15 minutes of cooling relief before sleep.

Don't use a cup that is torn or leaking, and stop if it feels uncomfortably cold.

Care

Mask and strap: remove the eye cups, then hand wash in cool water with a mild, silk-safe detergent. Press out water gently, don't wring, and lay flat to dry away from direct sun. Do not tumble dry or bleach.

Gel-bead eye cups: spot clean only with a damp cloth. Never submerge them.

Will it block out all light?

Yes. The contoured cups sit around your eyes and you can position them to seal around your nose, so it stays dark even in daylight.

How do I cool the eye cups?

Detach the cups and chill them in the fridge for about 30 minutes, then reattach and relax. Full steps are in the How to cool tab above.

Can I sleep in it with the cups chilled?

Yes. The cool fades gently over 10–15 minutes, and the silk mask keeps blocking light all night.

Can I warm the cups instead?

Is it comfortable for side sleepers?

The mask is slim, with just a 2 mm foam core under the silk, and the cups are soft-padded, so it sits comfortably against your pillow when you turn your head.
